Dealmakers Dialogues Warsaw: M&A Headwinds and Horizons in Poland & CEE in 2024

Łukasz Targoszyński focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and joint ventures, in particular in the FMCG, manufacturing, new technology and renewable energy industries. Łukasz has successfully conducted a number of complex transactions, both local and cross-border ones. He also has extensive experience in negotiating transactional insurance, both on the side of the insured and the insurer. Łukasz is recognized as a Next Generation Partner in the Private Equity category by the renowned Legal 500 ranking.

One of the few women among partners in investment funds. She has been part of the Avallon MBO team since 2006. She sits on the Supervisory Boards of the fund's portfolio companies. She has been responsible for the development of companies such as Velvet and Good Food Products, where she achieved growth significantly exceeding investors' expectations. Her projects have primarily focused on the B2C segment and the FMCG industry. Simultaneously, she is eager to engage in other activities. In collaboration with PSIK, she is responsible for coordinating a project of practical workshops for students interested in a career in private equity. She is also actively involved in the Level20 organization, which supports increasing the presence of women in the industry.

Michał is a partner at Deloitte Financial Advisory and co-head of the M&A Corporate Finance team in Poland, which provides sell and buy-side advisory services to privately held businesses as well as corporate and private equity clients. He has nearly 20 years of experience in investment, corporate and private banking gained at J. Safra Sarasin, Haitong, Vienna Capital Partners and Citi. He is a graduate of Bayes Business School and Warsaw School of Economics.

Dominik Radzewicz is the Head of M&A at Allegro, where he oversees strategic acquisitions and growth initiatives. He has a robust background in investment banking, having spent nearly a decade at Morgan Stanley. During his tenure, he worked on some of the largest and most high-profile transactions in Central and Eastern Europe, including the sale of Allegro and its IPO. Dominik holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting from the Warsaw School of Economics.

Fabian is an Executive Board Member at mInvestment Banking S.A. since March 2023. He previously worked at Deloitte for over seven years, where he held roles as Partner Associate and M&A Director, managing M&A operations in Central Europe. Prior to that, Fabian was an Investment Director and Investment Partner at MCI Capital, focusing on private equity and venture capital investments. Fabian holds extensive experience in investments, M&A, valuation, and structured finance.

Lawyer by education, Ewa has specialized in sales and business development for 12 years, working with the major players across multiple industries in the CEE. In her career, she held roles in financial services, consulting, and technology companies. Ewa brought Datasite to Poland in 2021 and in no time established Datasite as a preferred VDR provider in the local M&A market.
