The Datasite mobile app provides a high-quality photo scan function, automatically converting the picture into PDF format and putting a copy in your My Documents area. Locate the new file in My Documents from the online web app, then choose 'Open In' - 'PDF to Excel' to start the conversion process.

You’ll need to remove password protection before converting a PDF – and remember to re-protect both the original and the Excel file if necessary.

The whole process is online, so you don’t need software.

They're both Excel formats, but XLSX is the most recent version supported by Microsoft, so we use the latest for our outputs.

The tool extracts only information that's in a table format. Each table is represented in a different section of the Excel file, referencing the page from which it was extracted.

Scanned PDFs can also be converted, provided the scan quality is good enough for the tool to read (please double-check).

All original (PDF) and new (Excel) files are stored in your My Documents area. No other users can access them, and you can permanently delete them anytime.
