General Data Protection Regulator (GDPR)

Definition:

In effect since 2018, the legal framework in the EU and United Kingdom that sets guidelines for the collection and processing of personal information from individuals and controls how personal data is used by the government, businesses and organizations. It is widely considered the world’s strongest set of data protection rules.
