Hang Seng Index

Definition:

A market capitalization-weighted index measuring the daily share price performance of selected companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (SEHK). The list of the index’s constituent stocks is reviewed (with reference to various factors, such as the market value of the stocks) on a regular basis by Hang Seng Indexes Company Limited.
