Investment-Grade Bonds

Definition:

Bonds rated higher than BBB- by Standard & Poor’s (S&P) or Fitch, and Baa2 by Moody’s. Unlike Non-Investment-Grade Bonds or Junk Bonds, Investment-Grade Bonds offer lower risk of default, but also lower Yields.
