ISDA Master Agreement

Definition:

Published by the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, the ISDA Master Agreement is the most commonly used master service agreement for Over-the-Counter (OTC) Derivative transactions internationally. This agreement is part of a framework of documents designed to allow OTC Derivatives to be documented fully, accurately and flexibly. Typically, the framework includes an ISDA Master Agreement, a schedule, confirmations, definition booklets and a credit support annex.
