Master Agreement Among Underwriters

Definition:

In the context of an underwritten securities offering, the main Agreement Among Underwriters (AAU) of the offering that describes the roles and functions of all underwriters involved in it.

It is also referred to as an Agreement Among Managers. The Association of Financial Markets in Europe provides a standard form for use by financial institutions in the EU context.
