Summary

Definition:

Under US securities law, the Summary or overview section of an offering document that includes a short description of the issuer, its strengths and strategy, the key terms of the securities and the offering, and certain summary financial information.

In Europe and the United Kingdom, the EU Prospectus Regulation and UK Prospectus Regulation respectively strictly govern the Summary section of an offering document.
