Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (ASIFMA)

Definition:

A member of the Global Financial Markets Association (GFMA) alliance comprising the Association of Financial Markets in Europe (AFME), the Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (ASIFMA), and the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). It is an independent, regional trade association comprising financial institutions from both the buy and sell side, including banks, asset managers, law firms and market infrastructure service providers. Their mission is to harness the shared interests of the financial industry to promote the development of liquid, deep and broad capital markets in Asia.
