Definition:

Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, pursuant to which a Public Company is required to implement Internal Controls and procedures for financial reporting and file, along with its Annual Report, a Section 404 attestation report about management’s assessment of the effectiveness of such Internal Controls and procedures.
