UK Corporate Governance Code

Definition:

Published by the Financial Reporting Council, the UK Corporate Governance Code replaced the Combined Code and seeks to increase confidence in, and promote good corporate governance practices by UK listed companies. Companies in the equity shares (commercial companies) and closed-ended investment funds listing categories under the UK Listing Rules (UKLR) must describe in their Annual Report the extent to which they have complied with the Code and explain any non-compliance.
